Attaining Salvation

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
  • God created Adam and Eve to have fellowship with Him, but they disobeyed God by taking advice from Satan "Genesis 3:17". Because we are all born from Adam and Eve, we are all born under the curse of sin.
    • Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    • 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
  • All man lives once, then die to face Gods judgment!
    • Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    • Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
  • God’s judgment for sinners and unbelief is the pit of Hell, and afterwards place of eternal punishment, "The Lake of Fire".
    • Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. "Mark 9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."
    • Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
  • The Lake of Fire burns day and night forever and ever!
    • Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
    • Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
    • Hebrew 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
  • GOD is Love; He sent Jesus Christ His only begotten Son to die and raised Him from the dead to save us from our sins.
    • 1 John 4:8 ...for God is love.
    • Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
    • John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
    • John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
    • John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    • Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    • Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • Right now we are inviting you to respond to God’s Love, to receive Jesus in your heart as your Lord and Saviour. Pray this Prayer from your heart and believe !
  • "Heavenly Father, I Admit that I am a sinner. I believe that you sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross and He rose, to deliver me from all my sins and to give me eternal life. I receive Jesus in my heart, I give Him full control over my life. Forgive me all my sins and Help me to love Jesus with all my heart. Help me also to obey His word and practise His commandments at all times. I thank You Father for loving me and saving my soul. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen."
  • You are now a child of God. You must seek God’s face with all your heart. Jesus will always guide you with his Spirit. Trust Him.
    • 2 Corithians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    • Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
    • Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
    • Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
    • Matthew 6:19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
    • John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
  • God has prepared a place for all His children.
    • Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
  • Ask Jesus to heal you from all your pains and diseases and believe that He has already healed you.
    • Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ...30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
    • Mark 1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
    • Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
    • Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
  • The Bible is The Word of God. Read it everyday to know the will of God and to grow. Start with the New Testament.
    • 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
    • 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be shamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
    • Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand..
    • John 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
  • Prayer is communication with God. Ask Jesus to help you. Seek God’s will at all times and the Lord will guide your ways.
    • 1 Thessolonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
    • Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
    • Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
    • Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
    • Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
    • 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
  • Attend a local church that preaches Jesus Christ as Saviour, to grow spiritually and learn more about Him.
    • Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.
    • Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, …
    • Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
  • Have faith in God and believe His word.
    • Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
    • Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
    • Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    • Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
    • Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    • 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
    • James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
    • Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • Which is the FIRST and GREATEST COMMANDMENT?
    • Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
  • How can we practically express our LOVE to Jesus?
    • John 13:34 A new commandments I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
    • John 14:15 If ye love me, keep My commandments.
    • Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
    • Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock:
    • James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
    • Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
    • Matthew 24:45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing."
  • We must always do good and help others.
    • Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
    • Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
    • 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
    • Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
    • Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
    • Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
    • Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
  • Test everything with the word of God.
    • 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
    • 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
    • Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
  • If you commit sin ask God to forgive you all your sins. Ask Jesus to help you.
    • Hebrews 2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
    • 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
    • Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
    • 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  • You will experience trials because of the word of God. Trials also help us to obey and grow. Trials may be the way God uses to correct us.
    • James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
    • Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which He suffered;
    • 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
    • James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
    • Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
  • Trust Jesus for your everyday life, He will keep you from falling and deliver you from trouble.
    • 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
    • 2 Thessolonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, Who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.
    • Jude 1:24 Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.
    • Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
    • Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
    • Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
    • 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
